Being in the sales line of work, I have read a lot of motivational books, yet I never quite understood why it was that when we thought or affirmed positively, things would happen. It was only when I was introduced to “The Secret” that I understood it. It’s simply Quantum Physics – the law of attraction.

The Secret said that you can have anything you want, including winning the lotto. So about a month ago, I asked the universe and affirmed to myself that I have won the Jackpot of our local lotto. Here it is called “Toto”. The Jackpot was $6.7 Million (Malaysian dollars) at the time. I made up 6 sets of numbers and bought the tickets. Nothing happened.

I bought them again for several weeks. Then, on the fourth week, I was shocked to find 5 out of the 6 numbers matching. So I enquired if I won anything for matching 5 numbers? Yes, I did.

I was told that I won the 2nd prize, which was only $3,300. I was grateful but a little disappointed that I didn’t win the big money. Then I went back to read The Secret again. It said, “State the amount.” Oops… my mistake. I didn’t state the amount. I only stated that I wanted to win the Jackpot. Little did I know that the Jackpot had 2 prizes – the 1st Prize (the snowballing prize) and the 2nd Prize (which was fixed at $3300). Oh my god this is amazing!!!
