Where there is great love there are always miracles! That is my favorite quote of all times from Rhonda Byrne’s book, “The Power“. I am so grateful that I had an opportunity to read and practice giving love and gratitude to change my life for the better.

I would like to share a beautiful little story today. Before the pandemic, I visited my family back home and bought some very unique and beautiful embroidered shawls. I gave a few away as gifts and kept one in dark pink for myself. I just loved the color and the design. I did not have a chance to wear it anywhere due to the lockdown but would periodically take it out and have a look at it with love.

Several months later, we moved house and my sister-in-law helped with our house move. I wanted to gift her something to say my heartfelt thanks. I decided to gift her that shawl. I knew that I loved it and had wanted it for myself but I felt happier at that moment to give it to her as a gift. When I gave it to her, she was absolutely delighted and really liked it.

My mother was visiting our home country during that time. One day, I asked her if she could find the same shawl in the same color. I knew it was summer and it might not be in stock. By chance, she still had a carrier bag from the shop with its address. She rang the shop and they had the shawl in stock. She bought it for me with another one, also in a beautiful color. My mother posted both to me as a gift. I have now got two beautiful shawls that I really love! I got them just a few weeks after I gave mine away.

When I think about the whole thing, it just puts a big smile on my face. I know it was the power of my love!
