It was a Wednesday and we were receiving a new bed so we had to take our old bed down. I wanted to wash the sheets in our front loader and turned the machine on at 30 degrees. My son came to me with a cut and we went to the bathroom to clean and dress it. That was when we hear a meow and we started looking for our cat. That was also when I realized that he was in the washing machine! He was sleeping there, he had done that before but it had been a while. I screamed and pushed the button to open the door! He had been in there for about 6 minutes!

He was shivering and I brought him straight to the Animal Hospital. I was told that he was in very critical condition and may not live. They did everything for him including placing him in an oxygen box.

I had read The Secret and remembered reading about the dog, Cabi. So I kept his food fresh and put his picture on my phone so that when I looked at it I would see him and know that he was healthy and coming home to us. I visualized him walking around meowing and doing the things he always does. It did make me feel a lot better.

I got a call the next day saying that he was doing much better considering what had happened to him but he still remained in critical condition. I continued to do something every day to feel better until Saturday, the day I was able to take him home.

It is now a month later and he is healthy, breathing and sleeping normally. During the first week home, he even caught a bird! He is exactly the same and I am truly happy that he is still with us.
