I’ve tried so many self help tricks over the years, to better myself. From writing goals to affirmations with little or no results. I finally gave up on them. Maybe they work for others but they just didn’t work for me. My life was just going to be whatever life handed to me.

I had an idea to design a website in January of this year. This was BEFORE I saw The Secret. I was so excited when the idea came to me. I knew what it would be about and I even knew the name of the site…after checking the net, the name was available! I couldn’t sleep! My mind was on this idea and wouldn’t let go. I could help people! It was going to be fantastic. There weren’t any sites like it on the net!

The next morning, I woke up and started looking into getting this site started. I wasn’t quite as ambitious as the night before. I called one of my best friends and told him about it. He thought it was a great idea too. He told me to keep him informed on my progress.

The next day I woke up and knew this “Idea” wasn’t going to work. It was just another pipe dream that I got worked up over for nothing. There wasn’t a chance in the world it would work. And my life went on as usual.

While searching for a movie to rent on Netflix, I saw “The Secret.” I didn’t know what it was about nor had I ever heard of it. It sounded intriguing. So I ordered it and forgot all about it.

A couple of weeks later, The Secret comes to my home. I said to my wife, “Oh yeh, I did order this but I don’t know what it’s about.” I put the DVD into my machine and something magical happened.

I have purchased thousands of dollars of self help tapes, videos, dvd’s etc. over the years and I knew this wasn’t anything like I had ever seen or heard. I became excited just watching this movie. I KNEW this was the answer!

I usually watch movies one time and send them back so that I can get another one by the weekend to keep movies on hand every weekend. This movie was different. I watched it Sunday morning…and Sunday night…and Monday morning and Monday night before sending it back. Everytime I watched this movie, I became more and more excited.

One thing said in the movie that got me going…was NOT to wait. To get started right away. That’s how the Law of Attraction works. And get started is exactly what I did.

That website I was telling you about? I designed it and put it online in 1 day. I had a few road blocks but whenever I encountered one, the answer would come to me and I would change my path, but always with the end result of getting that site built the way I wanted it …the way I saw it in my mind.

I called and talked to my friend and he basically asked what the heck I was doing and why hadn’t I gotten back with him on my web site? I told him that it was online and he’d better hurry up and get going because I wanted him to write a column for me. I told him that we are going places and I told him what the outcome of this website is going to be… he asked me, “Now how the heck do you know that?”

I told him, “It’s a Secret!”

I just bought the book as well and read it everyday to keep the negative thoughts out of my mind and to keep the LOA on it’s powerful course to me. I cannot tell you how much my life has changed. My attitude has gone from a Negative Nelly to positive 99% of the time. My wife cannot believe the transformation in me. I should have listened to her because she has always said to me , “If you think positive, then positive comes to you. If you think negative all the time then negative comes to you.” I thought it was just one of those Philippino sayings but she knew about the Secret all of her life.
