I just began using The Secret. I saw the DVD about a year ago, but I got discouraged after going a long time with no results, and I gave up. Now I realize I was just not doing it right! I just started using The Secret again a few days ago to give it another shot.

I was planning to go to a Bret Michaels concert for a while, and he was performing for free at the fair. However the day of the concert my friend and ride there had not contacted me. The concert started at nine, and by six o’clock I still hadn’t gotten a call from her. I knew she wanted to get there early to get a good spot in front of the stage, so I was worried. Especially because it takes forty five minutes for me to get ready and thirty minutes to get there. However, I kept on believing that I would go that night no matter what.

At six o’clock, I called her and came to find out she was just about to leave! She picked me up at the last minute and when we got there, we got front row spots! Before Bret performed, we even got to meet and take plenty of pictures with Big John, his bodyguard. Big John is actually on Bret’s reality show so we recognized him. He was the first “celebrity” I ever met. Even though he isn’t really a “celebrity”, just a reality show star.

When Bret performed, he touched my hand and I also got a picture of him looking straight into my camera and smiling! I was so excited and thankful for what had happened so far, because I may not have even gotten there let alone get front row spots and everything if I hadn’t been picked up at the last minute. And on top of all of this, I found out that they taped his performance and they are going to put the footage on VH1! I was in the front row so I know I’ll be on it. I was so happy because this was only my first real concert and all of these great things were happening.

I even got to flirt a little bit with some men in the crowd which boosted my confidence. It may sound insignificant, but I had self-esteem issues before The Secret and I was so proud that I was able to believe in myself. Even though Bret himself didn’t take pictures that night, I left very happy with what I got. I know that this night was a result of The Secret in effect. I can still hardly believe that I touched Bret Michaels and he knows that I exist now!
