The Power Of Love.
Submitted by: Maria Elena Grasset
Jacksonville, FLI am 25 years old, happily married, and I am originally from Cuba. I came to the US at the age of 12. At the age of 17 I graduated high school and when I turned 21 I graduated from College.
About a year ago when my husband was still my fiance, we discovered the science of meditation on YouTube. We believed that it could help us be better in life, we practiced it together, and we always wondered what was the purpose of meditating, what was the ultimate benefit from it.
Then The Secret came to us. While walking around the mall one day, we encountered an old friend. While catching up we told him about meditation, and it so happened that he also was using meditation and he had the book with him and lent it to us.
I felt in love with it. I read it with my husband every night and we even told other family members about it. Reading The Secret we found out, that meditation is important for your brain, and training your brain for success while using the law of attraction can be very powerful. I believed so deeply that everything that was written in this book was real, that I immediately starting living it with no doubts.
A lot of good has happened to us in the last 3 months, but the story I want to tell you happened before The Secret, when I was 18 years old, and it proves that the law of attraction (love) works, even when you are not aware that it exists.
In 2008 I went to Colorado Springs to visit my ex-boyfriend in college. It was valentine’s day and it was snowing. I was wearing my high school graduation ring with no gloves on while playing in the snow. Yes, I lost my ring. This happened in one of the walking trails inside the Air Force Academy.
When I got back to my hotel that evening, I noticed my ring was gone. I was sad, a bit upset, but I took it like a game and told my boyfriend at the time, that it was his fault I lost it because I came to visit him, and we just joked about that for a while. I told him the ring had cost me $305 therefore he needed to give me 305 kisses to compliment my loss. Then I just dropped the conversation and said well, I loved that ring so much, I worked hard to pay for it myself, and it was beautiful while I had it.
About a couple of weeks later, I get a call from my little sister, who was a freshman at the high school that I graduated from in 2007. She had been called to the front office and they gave her a small envelope with a letter for me.
Yes, it was my graduation ring!!
Here is what happened:
A a student from that school found my ring on the walking trail. He turned it in to the lost and found. The administrative person who worked in the lost and found area googled the name of the school on the ring and decided to send it to the school with a letter for me. My name was imprinted on the ring as well as the name of the school. The person at the high school knew that I had graduated the year before, but by my last name she found my sister and gave her the envelope.
Then I had my sister contact a boy whose mom worked with me, because I had to go way to the north side of town to get my ring from her. She lived with my father and I did not get along with him. I could not drive to the house to get it at the time. My sister found the boy, gave him the envelope, then he gave it to his mother, who then brought it to my job the next day.
I could not believe that I had my ring back! I loved that ring so much, it meant so much to me. The law of love made it come back to Jacksonville all the way from Colorado Springs, and made it land in the right hands and the right place.
This law of love or attraction is so incredibly real that I now use it for my job, for my life, for my everything! What I want, I receive not a minute too early or late, just in time, just when I need it.
I have so many stories to tell from the past 3 months that I will be writing here.
Thank you guys for making this book so amazing, your purpose was fulfilled.
