I had heard about the Law of Attraction a long time before I heard about The Secret. A friend insisted on lending me the film but it wasn’t until I read the book and got the audio book to listen to in my car to and from work that I started practicing. Sometimes the road from theory to practicing can be a long and hard one, – it was for me. I found it so difficult to believe.

I used to play the piano but I had not had access to an instrument for a few years. Some months ago I decided that I would like to have a piano, an electric piano, or even better, an acoustic one.

I pictured where in the house I would put it and I visualised myself playing it. But I felt that I could not afford to buy myself a piano.

One day I went into St. George’s church and I asked, “Can I have a piano, please, cheap, or for free?”

A short time after, the piano was found on the internet, it was free, it had been tuned recently, and I was the first person to call, so I got it. My friends helped me to take it back to my house. It is a beautiful instrument. Now I play the piano almost every day. For me there is no better way to express gratitude and joy than say “Thank you” through music.
