The Missing Painting.

Many, many thanks to Rhonda Byrne for all The Secret books that help all of us understand and practice the law of attraction.
My story is this: I have admired a painter based in Mexico for years, but I never felt I could afford his paintings. Whenever I saw pictures of his work though, the bright colors and peaceful scenes always made me happy.
In the first part of October, one of his paintings hit me just right, and I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and order it from his studio. I planned to work a few extra weekends to pay for it.
Two weeks went by. I checked the tracking link, but it said only that the painting was “on its way.” Another week went by, and I emailed the studio, but they didn’t respond, even though I continued to get their promotional emails every day.
In the fourth week, the tracking link said the painting was in a post office in Atlanta, Georgia, where it stayed for the next 5 weeks. It was now well over the time I could refuse the charges on my credit card. I had paid a lot of money for it and was working extra hours for a painting that I still did not have. I called the studio by phone and finally made it through, but I was told they could not do anything about it because it was stuck in a post office in the U.S.
I knew worrying about it was not doing me any good. so I stopped checking the tracking link and I assumed that either the painting would show up in its own time, or I would lose the money and learn a hard lesson. So I “let it go” and went about my business.
Four days before Christmas, the painting arrived out of blue and in perfect condition. It now hangs on the wall in my living room and it brightens the entire room. I smile whenever I walk by it and I am so happy I spent the money.
Letting go has been one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned and practiced. I remind myself not to worry about something that may or may not happen in the future or that may or may not arrive. I concentrate on living presently, which greatly reduces my stress levels, slows down time, and makes every moment in my life more enjoyable. I encourage you to do the same. It can be difficult at first because your mind will wander to all the things you “should” be doing, but you’ll get better at it and your life will change dramatically as a result. It’s worth the effort!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you so very much for The Secret.
