Let me start by saying I have had the greatest time digging into The Secret, reading everyone’s stories, and learning about The Secret. It is so interesting and exciting to think we all have the ability to have anything we can imagine. I have had a few bumps in this past year. I had a long-term relationship end with the man I thought I was going to marry and that was the biggest of these. However, I have since realized how thankful I am it came to an end and that it left me with so many beautiful memories and exciting new opportunities.

I first started learning about The Secret a few months after this breakup. I was looking for some kind of support, answers, or clarity to get me through this loss. I watched the movie and it was so interesting and exciting that I had to try it. I used it on little things and also to manifest a partner who was good for me. I was hoping for fast results, and dating a lot but continued to be disappointed. But then I began to think, “Maybe I am focusing my energy on the wrong area of my life.” I was still living in the house my ex and I had shared for three years and constantly reminded of him. So instead of obsessing over finding the perfect mate, I began to think about how it would feel to live in a new place and start over.

Then that idea began to blossom. I visualized a huge, wide-open space, with a unique shape and layout. With huge, sunny windows, and plenty of space for me to start over and grow. I began drawing the space I envisioned. It made me smile and I felt happy when I thought about it. For about two weeks I did this and decided to get brave and put an advertisement up to sublet my current room, even though I had nowhere to live. I began packing and organizing as though I was moving into this new space.

Then, about two weeks later, my best friend called to say her friend had just bought a condo and had an extra room, and that I could go look at the place and see if it was something I was interested in. I thought there wouldn’t be any harm so I went. And when I arrived I couldn’t believe it. The living room had high vaulted ceilings and curved outwards in a circle, and in the curve were eight huge windows and there were big windows everywhere. The layout was gigantic and almost exactly what I had been envisioning. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Then more exciting things happened. My friend said she wasn’t worried about the price, so she gave me an unbelievably low price for the room I would be renting. Then she also said that she and the other roommate travel 3 weeks out of the month, meaning a lot of the time, this huge, beautiful space was all for me. This situation could not have worked out more perfectly. My room is sublet, and I move into the new place next month! I am so grateful for this miracle in my life!
