This story starts from Vellore, Tamilnadu. After finishing my course in medicine I planned to move on to New Delhi to do my internship training in medicine. In the last days in Vellore I got my hands on the book THE MAGIC. I only managed to read the first chapter where RHONDA BYRNE tells to set goals in your major areas
of improvement. I chose 3 areas, FINANCES, HEALTH, and RELATIONSHIPS. In this story I am focused to tell about the goal FINANCES.

While setting the GOALS in the finances topic I set up a goal for in my internship tenure of 7 months in NEW Delhi. I will get Rs.500000 or $10000.
As I continued with the book, I saw there were exercises to be followed. But being lazy, I didn’t do the exercises.

I came to Delhi and started my internship. I should tell you that I don’t get any stipend and I am having no source of income. Also I was not having any idea how I am going to make that big sum of money. Seeing the goal as very big I stopped thinking about it. Then one fine evening I was getting bored and found the book THE MAGIC.
I started to read, now in Delhi with no work to do, I started to go through the book and did the exercises but having lack of discipline, I didn’t follow all the exercises.

But one exercises I liked a lot. Everyday while going to work I used to go by the suburban metro train. While swiping my card for entering metro when the ticket amount got deducted I used to say: “THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MONEY THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME. THANK YOU FOR I AM HAVING THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THIS”.
THIS PARTICULAR EXERCISE I continued for 2 to 3 months. I used to do this without keeping any goal in my mind. I did this because I liked doing this.

10 days ago my younger brother told about a competition. In that competition he needed a partner to work with. The top prize was $10000 cash reward and $1000 of cool electronic gadgets. I signed myself for the competition, but in the starting I couldn’t find any way of completing the competition and only managed to get a reward of $100. Still having faith, I did strong visualization. Suddenly while talking to my mom over some other topic a great idea hit me. I jumped with my full enthusiasm and completed the competition. I couldn’t believe when we got the email from the organizers of the competition that we have managed to get $12000
of cash reward! They planned to increase the prize money, plus $1000 of cool gadgets. I couldn’t believe that this was happening!

I have applied LOA for small things, but for $13000, I am still pinching myself to tell me that I am not in a dream or hallucinating.
