Hi guys,

This is my second story here on The Secret website.

I was assigned here in Japan for 6 months. With less than 15 days before I was to go back to my home country, I was informed that I may need to extend my stay for another one month because the person who was going to be my replacement did not get their visa yet. I was devastated and upset after hearing the news since I was really, really excited to go back home and I had already planned everything. I can not also imagine what my boyfriend’s reaction would be when I broke the news to him.

That was on Thursday. Then I started thinking that if my replacement’s COE , which was the main document needed for the visa, would arrive by the latest on Monday next week, we could still meet the target date of our switch. Even if I was upset, I still managed to shift my thinking to positive things and believed with all my heart that the COE would arrive on Monday. I let go and left everything to God.

Guess what?!

Our boss just informed me that my replacement’s COE just arrive today! And today is Monday!!! I was very, very happy.

It is true that one way is to focus on how you feel if you get your desired result, not on what will you feel if the result is not desirable.
