Last Tuesday Shakira gave a show at my city. I really like her, but to tell the truth I had spent a lot of money and couldn’t afford the ticket at the moment. Besides, I had a class the day of the show. I was so sad that I wasn’t going to see her. But on Monday, before the show, I thought to myself: “Wait a second… None of this matters, I want to go to the show so I will.” I didn’t know how, but I didn’t think about it.

A couple of hours later I got an email from my teacher saying the class was cancelled. I still didn’t make much of it. The next day after class, I got home and my sister said: “I’ve got a surprise for you,” and she pulled out two tickets for the show, best zone. The best part? She didn’t even buy them! A friend of hers, whose dad works with the promoters, got them for free but couldn’t go because she had an exam, so she gave them away.

So there! I just wished for something and believed it was fact. It happened! I went to the show for free, without missing class. I’m a believer.
