My story starts like thousands do across America.

I was about to finish grad school and become a teacher, but I had told my friend as we were finishing out the semester that I really wanted to travel and teach. At the time, this was just said in passing, with no real attachment to how this could happen. As many people know, the law of attraction is working even if you don’t know about it.

So, after my graduation ceremony my family and friends went to the beach in South Carolina. While we were there, my sister told me about her friend applying to be a teacher with the Ringling Brothers Circus, but not getting the job. I was so crazy in love with the idea of traveling with the circus as a school teacher, I applied immediately.

Then, the HR had my come to Coney Island for a 3 day interview.

And I got the job!!!!!!

I was about to head on an adventure, and run away with the circus!! It was happening!!

I made sure before I flew out to California to catch up with the circus train that I had no expectations. This was going to be an experience of a lifetime.

And, it was.

It works, even if you don’t do anything but say it aloud.
