My wife and I moved into the house we are currently living at back in January 2007. My daughter at the time was 1 year old. The day we moved into this house we didn’t like it. We knew we made a big mistake and that we bought this place on impulse. At the time, we lived with my Mom for about 4 months and we both wanted out very badly – so we pretty much jumped at the first place we saw.

In July 2008, after both deciding it was time to move from this place, we started fixing the place up a bit to get it ready to sell it.

In the last two years we’ve been on many vacations, so we decided to put up many pictures from our vacations, including all the beautiful sunset and sunrise beach photos. We both love the beach and love the peaceful sound of the waves. We knew that one day we wanted to live near the beach.

Fast forward now to August 2008. Exactly one month after we started fixing up our home with beach photos and vacation pictures, we decided to take a drive up north for a 3-day getaway trip. On the drive to the resort, we drove passed a brand new housing development that were building 100 new homes on the beach. We thought to ourselves, WOW… this would be a nice place to live, but it must be expensive. We decided to stop anyways, and take a look. To our amazement, the place was not that expensive at all, and within our budget. I couldn’t believe it, and my wife was in disbelief too. A long story short, we bought our dream home that day, and will be moving in March 2010.

This journey all started after watching The Secret and believing in the law of attraction. After putting up all those pictures of the beach sunsets and sunrises, within 1 month we bought our dream house on the beach. It’s like the pictures we put on our wall came to life!
