I read The Secret maybe 10 years ago and every now and then it would pop up in my mind. While reading on the internet about it and practicing it, the subjects of affirmations and manifesting were brought to my attention. At first I was a bit of a skeptic, but now I am a believer and I apply it to my life each day. Because of that, I am living it!

While reading my manifestation book I came across an assignment. “Ask the Universe for a sign, it could be for example, a snowflake, a butterfly, or a ladybug.”

And so I did, I asked for a peacock. I love peacocks because they are such majestic birds with the most beautiful colors in their feathers! This was on a Monday evening.

That Friday I turned 44 and my partner, whom I didn’t tell about my special request, stepped inside my house with a big bunch of flowers. In the middle of the flowers there was a big feather from a peacock. His exact words to me were, “This is for you, because I’m still as proud as a peacock when I’m next to you.”

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you, Universe, you could not have made me any happier!
