I had won a few art awards for my drawings in May 2011 so I started visualizing winning an award at the next show.

I visualized every day and did everything I could do to feel like I achieved the award, like visualizing walking up in front of the applauding crowd to receive the award/check.

It turns out I didn’t win anything.

But about seven months later I entered another more prestigious art show and won an Honorable Mention worth $50.
