Over the hurdle

We had reached that “3 year hurdle” after starting a business, and it was tough to get over it. We were just about to reach our overdraft limit and were running out of funds.
Then it clicked to me that I was concentrating on getting out of debt and not looking at growing the business. I immediately shifted my attention to growth and visualising the abundance of new customers awaiting my services and that they were waiting to pay me for something new.
The next morning I awoke at 4.30am with a head full of ideas, and got straight to the computer and started typing. I immediately created a new web page to advertise the details of this, and the content kept rolling into my mind and onto my keyboard.
Within one week the resource was half finished and we had received record sales! By the end of that weekend the pages were finished in record time and orders were being dispatched. I kept my mind focused on what I wanted (sales and lots of them coming in so fast it would be hard to keep up).
Each week following that our sales increased for 4 months, breaking records each week, and we were not only back in credit but we had saved the equivalent of 10 months wages!
After reading ‘The Secret” I realised what I had done, and we continue to grow our business through thinking about what we want and being thankful for what we have, and new ideas and money keep flying in from the Universe.
Our next goal is to break into the overseas market and make our first million dollars. This will be achieved by Christmas 2008 because we have told ourselves that this will be so… I can already see it!
If you haven’t already, read The Secret and see the movie. I recommend it!
