I am going to try and summarize this as much as I can.

It’s been a year since I have been introduced to The Secret. It has greatly changed myself, my husband and my three year old daughter’s lives.

After I met my husband life seemed perfect in every way. We both knew on our blind date we would be together forever. It wasn’t until after my daughter was born that things started to change. Having a new born certainly challenges things but what really challenged our strength was when my mom passed away suddenly, two weeks after my daughter was born.

Everything sort of shifted from blissful happiness to deep depression. I was sad all the time. I was having trouble coping. I took my husband for granted, and never thanked him for anything. He never stopped being there for me, he was my rock the entire time.

As time went on and my sadness and lack of gratefulness continued, everything else began to fall. My husband’s job conditions got worse. He was mandated more and more overtime. He was coming home exhausted. As I jumped from job to job never seeing the positive in any of the jobs I had, our finances took a toll. It almost seemed hopeless at one point.

Then we stumbled across The Secret.

We loved the movie. And after some research I purchased The Magic and my husband and I did the practices every night before bed. It almost brought us back together again. Slowly, things began to improve.

Three years later, I have a dream job with the perfect schedule for being a mom, our finances are improving, my husband is going back to school and is getting straight A’s. He was promoted at his current job to a better position with no mandatory overtime.

We are blissfully happy again. I am loving life, every moment of it and am looking forward to the future.
