My story began in 2007. My boyfriend bought me The Secret for my birthday. I still remember being annoyed at the gift, I thought it was impersonal and that not a lot of thought went into the gift. I ended up not reading the book.

At the time I was studying towards my Bachelor’s degree and working full time. There were times when I felt like giving up, it felt like a dream that would never materialize. My boyfriend and I also had a really rocky relationship at the time, we broke up and made up, more times than I can remember.

In 2010 I had the last 7 subjects to complete my degree. I really battled to get to this point and these last 7 subjects were daunting. I decided to register for all 7 in one semester, something that I had never done before. I moved house at the beginning of the semester and found The Secret among my belongings. I decided to start reading it. Every day before I started studying, I would read a few pages and highlight the parts that stood out to me.

At the end of that semester, I wrote my last 7 exams and believed that I would pass even though some of the exams were extremely tough.

I received my results a month later along with my graduation letter! I passed all my subjects and even got 2 distinctions!

My relationship with my boyfriend got better and better, we are now married!

He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Looking back at that gift that he gave me in 2007, it really was the best gift I could have ever received!

I will be back again to give an update of all the miracles that I am blessed to be receiving!
