I cannot say enough about how well The Secret has worked for me.

A few months ago, I was working three dead-end jobs and still not making enough money. I spent so much time thinking about how I did not have enough, and would always be burdened with bills from a car accident I had had a few months before. In fact, the day I was headed to the bank to deposit the last check to be “caught up”, I had another one! I was really upset and my negative thoughts intensified. I took solace by going out after work much more often, feeling like I would never have enough again. One night I was driving home and got pulled over for a DUI, even though I had only had 2 beers and was sure I was not over the legal limit. I was at complete rock bottom.

I knew something had to change, and fast. I instinctively decided to do what made me feel good, instead of worrying about what I was lacking. I quit two of the jobs I was working, broke into my savings, and vowed to stop beating myself up. I had heard of The Secret and downloaded the audiobook so I could listen to it in my car. It made me feel wonderful, so I just kept listening.

I was worried about how I would pay my bills and still frustrated with the job I had. One day, when I went for a walk, I decided, as I often do, to wander through a store I passed. Inside I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in years. She had just started working there and couldn’t say enough about what a great company it was. I decided to take the hint and see if they had any openings.

It turned out that they had exactly the job I wanted, but getting it was an enormous and very competitive process. I just kept repeating to myself (and to them) “This is my job” and “I am meant for this job”. As I went through interview after interview, I focused as strongly as I could on picturing myself working there and loving it. I asked lots of questions, and found people who wanted to help me get the job to give me hints. I posted a picture of the store as my computer desktop background at home.

Eventually, I was invited to an interview as one of the top candidates. I had to give a full presentation to a room full of company leaders and answer a huge array of questions. I was terrified, but I just kept repeating “This is my job, I am meant to have it, it is supposed to happen.”

Later that day, I got a call that not only had I gotten the job, but that I had blown everyone away at the interview and had the job before I even walked out the door. Therefore, they offered me more money to start than I had expected, and an enormous benefit package!

I now have PLENTY of money to live the life I want, and love my new job!

As a side note, I have used The Secret to manifest other things with great success: A beautiful new bicycle (as a random gift), a date with someone I’ve had my eye on (he called out of the blue), and my cat home safe after I thought he was lost for sure.

I have also received notice that my DUI was dismissed because I was never over the legal limit in the first place.

I feel so lucky to have discovered this tool early in life! I am ecstatic about my life and my power in it… it really is like ordering from a catalog! The only question now is what I should order next!
