So I was always one of these people who did NOT believe in what you put out into the Universe you get back. I was very, “No, I don’t believe in that, it is not real.” My friend was really into it. She is into ‘well-being’ and she spoke a lot about it. I just sort of disregarded it really. Then one day, I thought, “You know what? I am going to get The Secret and I started reading it.

My dream as a young child was to go to New York and see New York in person. It always looked amazing and I would see it in all the movies and it was just something that I always wanted to do. So started reading The Secret and then there was a song that was playing on my Diesel account quite a lot. It was a song about New York and it was playing very frequently. I think I knew all the words to it.

I continued to read The Secret book and I was thinking that one day I will go to New York. One day I will be there. So I was putting out all of these thoughts and then I booked a week off from work while my son was on six weeks holidays at school. I thought that we would go somewhere. I did not know where we were going to go but we will go somewhere!

I went home from work when the work day had ended. At home, I clicked on a website and the website flash up and it was New York! I was like, that’s too good to be true! It is too good to be true but I am going to ring up that company and double check. So I called the company and the guy said that the price was correct. For just the two of us to go to a a four-star hotel, flights and transfers, and everything else it was under £1000! I was like that can not be real, it can’t be real! That was why I called them. But the guy told me that it was called a “Flash Sale”, it was an amazing deal for a very short period of time. I could not believe that it was actually still on the website when I had clicked on it and it ‘flashed’! So of course I just grabbed it. It was actually in my price range and it was like, this is my time!

It is not that you always get things for free but you get things that are in your reach and they just pop up for you. I said to myself, that must be The Secret! That was a proper life changing moment for me! So all those years that I wasted my time saying that I did not believe in such things, I was wrong.

It has really changed the way I look at things. I had been putting out thoughts to the Universe about me moving into my own house for me and my son. I do not want to rent anymore, I want to have our own place. I want a place that I can leave to him. So that he has some stability and security.

Today I am going to put money down for a new build plot and it is going to be done next year! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

That is my story. So if you are that person that I once was, do not believe it, just read the book and try it. If it can work for me than it can work for you. If you don’t believe in it then at least you can say that you tried it. It has definitely changed my life and the things that I’ve seen and the way I look at life in general now. Thank you!
