We were looking for a new home for about a year and a half, but couldn’t find anything we could afford and liked. We decided to renovate our own home, so we could stay here for a few more years. After the renovation we got into an ugly fight with the neighbours, and the third time we started shouting at each other I decided I didn’t want to live in our house anymore.

A few months earlier I did see a house I really liked, but it was too expensive for us. But I made an appointment to look at it and fell in instant love. But it was still too expensive for us and it needed some renovation too.

About the same time I bought the book of The Secret. So I started to act in my mind that the house was already mine. I looked at myself sitting at the fireplace and swimming in the pool. We made an offer, that was far below the price they were asking and nobody believed we would get it. But I believed and believed and when I started to doubt I believed some more. And you can guess what happened next: we bought the house and even got some money to renovate it from my mother in law. Now we have to sell our own house and I’m pretty sure there won’t be a problem too!

Not only did I gain a new house, I feel much happier since I read the book. Every day I read a few pages, so I can think that part over, and I’m reading it for the third time now (I bought it 2 1/2 weeks ago). I want to learn a lot more!
