Though my story contains dollar amounts that may be far less than what you older folks may be asking for 😉 I still thought that maybe a small story of faith could influence your own.

Last year, I dropped my phone in the ocean. Being a ‘textaholic’, my life was pretty much over 😉 I never received allowance, and at the time I was 15 and could not legally work to save up for a new phone. For a couple of months I was stressed about not being able to talk to the friends that I have since moved away from, and frustrated by my lack of money… which seemed to be the only thing in the way of getting that phone.

I suppose, after a while, I more or less… let it go. I didn’t worry about income or money. And soon my dad started giving me allowance. Mind you, it was way small, and the phone I wanted alone was $250, and I only had $30 saved ;D
…but I still FELT rich. I was happy to have money and though I didn’t realize I was using The Secret at the time, by feeling rich and thinking I had money, I drew more into my life.

I had a call last week for a job that pays far more than minimum wage. By the look of things, I’ll have a phone in two weeks 🙂

So yeah, I’m not talking about receiving a billion bucks… but by feeling rich, and feeling like I had a lot of money, I drew in the 1,500 check I just got last Friday 😉
