I could not start my story in any other way other than by saying “Thank You Rhonda”. The life I am living is something that you have shaped up! I came to Bangalore city 3 years back searching for a job. I had spare time during my job hunt and I used to assist my dad in running his business. This is when I came across The Secret. I started reading the book just to kill my time. I was actually feeling pathetic at the time as most of my friends in college had found a place in major MNCs. I was one of the ‘unlucky’ ones not to get placed anywhere. As I kept on reading, I was more and more fascinated by the whole concept. I began applying some of them in my life. Especially the part where you write down your email ID with the company of your dreams. I did not have any specific dream company. Just wanted an MNC job. I wrote down my fictional email ID with a couple of companies. This I did regularly and daily.

One fine day my cousin comes in and says to me “I have a friend of mine who works in a famous MNC (which was one of my fictional email MNC!). Forward your resume”. I did the same. Within a week I got a call from the company HR and another week I was working in the company that too without any difficult interviews! That was my first practical known application of The Secret and it worked out like a charm. From that day, there was never looking back. Sure there were difficult days, but I was able to convert all those difficulties into beautiful dream life that I was living. This was not only applicable to my professional life, but also to my personal life. My family was happy, my brother got into the best college here in Bangalore city and one of the best in all India. After bumping into some wrong people in life, I was finally able to find a partner who is the best ever anyone could hope for. And its been almost two years and life is wonderful!

After working for 2 and a half years at the MNC, I was bit worried about my financial condition and I wanted a higher paying job and also had a liking towards working in a startup company. Again applied The Secret. uploaded resumes in some job sites and waited. Within two weeks, got a call from a startup company. They wanted me to join them in a senior post with almost double the salary! I made a visit to the company and they did not even interview me. They were impressed with my positive attitude and offered me the job. Here I am now working happily doing what I wanted.

A week back I was in some urgent need of money and somehow I had a feeling that some good amount of money was coming to me. I needed the money to get a washing machine that was long overdue to my mom! I had some other expenses coming and I really wished I had some extra cash with me. There was a PF refund which I had applied for from my previous job. It was taking so long that I had almost lost hopes on getting the money. All of a sudden last week I got a sms saying that my PF refund is approved! There was a ray of hope. I was expecting somewhere around 8K as my refund. I had a sudden unforeseen expense of 2,200 and I was feeling a little low. Immediately I realized that The Secret says that if you give, you get more in return. I applied the same here. I just checked my bank account for some reason and I was astounded by what I saw. I had lost 2,200 but I had got my PF return and the amount was 22,000! I was not surprised really. Because these miracles have been happening in my life for a couple for years and I love this feeling! Now I can get my mom the much overdue washing machine!

It all happened to me effortlessly, it will happen to you too! Keep you faith and gratitude is very important!
