I watched The Secret movie with family, and decided I would like to meet James Ray. Just shake hands kinda thing. The next day I went to his website and found he would be here in Denver for a free seminar – so I signed up, went and met him. He asks me, “Do you have everything you want?” With force! I just smiled and shrugged and thought and thought and thought. No, was clearly the answer. All that aside, one thing I wanted to do was done!

Then I decided I wanted a good job with a boss that understands me, a place to live that is not my ex-husband’s basement, and a reliable car. All that happened, for which I am grateful every day.

Then I decided I would like to meet Michael Bernard Beckwith. I mentioned to my boss that I had been listening to The Secret to remind myself to be grateful, and to be mindful of what I want, and he says – no kidding – Guess who’s coming to speak at our church? Yep – Mr. Beckwith. So I’ll go meet him very soon too. Just a hand shake – or maybe a few words.

What I really want is an afternoon coffee with Lisa! I could use the female encouragement to keep the faith! And I’m certain that’ll happen too…
