Making Mistakes

CanadaA girl who is happy with life. If you have the time, please take a look at my website called "Spiritual Monkeys": dreamonit.weebly.com
I want to start of my story with a big thank you to The Secret Team for all their knowledge and support. They have inspired me many times to live the life I want and choose.
This is not really a story, but rather a journey through my progression and what I learned through this journey. Through this journey I have failed many times, but the quality that I am proud of is that when I failed, I also got up. Life is not an easy journey to go through, as many of us know, but learning through our experiences is what makes us human, what makes us the people we are. Sometimes we forget that it is okay to make mistakes, as even the most confident of people make mistakes.
The problem though, is the mindset most of us have. Most of us allow our mistakes to define us, but that shouldnât be the case. The mistakes we make do not define the person you are today. This would be similar to comparing the personality you had when you were seven, and now. When you were seven, you probably had a whole different personality that made you who you are, but circumstances and life allowed you to develop or change your personality for you to become the person you are today. Just like it wouldn’t be right to compare your personality from the past to your present personality, it wouldn’t be right for you to define yourself by your mistakes.
Your mistakes are a learning experience and it is a totally normal one too. Everyone makes mistakes and those mistakes arenât necessarily a bad thing. Learning to accept your mistakes will broaden your understanding of what you want in life.
Somebody close to me once told me that if humans were perfect, there would be no meaning and purpose to life.
Love,
Aaila
