I have been reading The Secret for about 8 years now. The first time I read it I just knew this book would change me for the better. And it did. Because of this book I lost all fear of being excited about my future and what I wanted for my future. I met my husband, we have two beautiful kids, a girl and a boy.

Ever since I became a mother I have had this overwhelming feeling of peace. Like this is what I was meant to do in this life I have been blessed with. I want nothing more that to provide my family with every dream they have ever wanted.

Just before my daughter turned 4 years old in August of 2014 she told me she wanted to go to Disney World to meet all of the Princesses. She begged me. I looked in her eyes and said sweetheart I promise you we will go to Disney when you are 4.

Of course the minute she turn 4 she kept asking “Mommy are we going to Disney tomorrow?” I said not yet sweetie, you just turned 4 so that means I have a whole year to put the trip together. I had every faith in the universe that I would be able to take her to Disney and give her that dream vacation.

My husband was not so reassured. He kept saying don’t tell her that when we can’t afford to pay our bills let alone take a vacation. I said I don’t know when it will happen but I just know in my heart that it will happen.

I read The Secret for probably the 3rd time and also started practicing The Magic 21 day practices. I wrote about how happy we were on this Magical Family vacation. I wrote and wrote about it, never losing faith.

In January 2015 I sat down to do my taxes and to my surprise I was due an unexpected amount on my tax return. I was so surprised I redid them and rechecked my numbers over and over to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake. When I showed my husband even he questioned if I had checked my work to ensure I hadn’t made a mistake. I assured him I had and that it was correct.

After I received my tax return and we paid off all of our debt (I was so so happy to be debt free), I received an email from Disney Resorts about a promotion for the Spring. I instantly ran the numbers and presented the idea to my husband. He agreed we could do it now that we had paid all of our debt. So I took the leap and booked the Magical Vacation to Disney World and planned everything.

We made all of our little girl’s dreams come true during that week. She met every princess and even got to dress up like Cinderella. It was absolutely magical! To see the happiness in her eyes made me so proud. I had done exactly what I had promised my daughter and it was all because I asked, I believed and we received!
