I’ve had quite an up-and-down kind of life. I guess like some people, I was alone and felt unwanted and unloved for most of it. Then at 33 at a very low point in my life, I met this fellow. After three months of dating, only three months, I discovered at 33 years old that I was pregnant. Then I found out that he was into heavy drugs, and I was not. I kind of thought to myself, 20 years ago now I would be raising this child on my own.

I discovered The Secret after my daughter developed a rare blood infection when she was two years old. She lost her fingertips and her toes but thank goodness she lived!! It is still a battle to this day with therapy. We have watched The Secret for most of her life. We now live in a nice place, I have an OK good job, she has grown up and is now 19, and I did it all on my own.
