I went through a terrible break up 8 months ago, where I was dumped by my boyfriend of 7 years. I spent the initial months  being miserable, crying, complaining and doing everything to bring him back.

Then I stumbled upon The Secret in a book store and decided to buy it. I got hooked on the book. What started out as a way to get my love back, gradually changed my whole outlook on life. Without even realising it I moved on in my life. I used to be a pessimist even when I was with him. But this book made me a happy person. In the initial months, I had wished for him to call me and was desperate for that call. Gradually I started loving myself. I paid attention to my own mental and physical health. I recently joined a yoga class and I am proud of myself for getting better day by day, in every aspect of my life.

Today I thought of my ex calling me for a few moments and then went back to do my work. And somehow he called me. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Even though he said that it was a pocket dial and we did not talk, it still strengthened my faith in the LOA.
