It Is up To your Feeling
Submitted by: S. Nate
Thailand, BangkokI'm an ordinary young man who once totally hated myself, but now I realize that my life is the most priceless treasure I've ever had. Knowing "The Secret" when I'm 21 - is it too late? No, it's just the beginning of my beautiful life.
3 years ago, my grade was extremely disappointing. I’ve never gotten below 3.00 (B) in my life. I got D in my economy class. Ironically, I was a tutor for my friend who got B+. And what made me depressed the most was my friends’ comment about how easy that term was. They kept telling me that, “The first year is the period you can collect the most A’s, because after that A is too tough to get.” Well, I know you can imagine what I thought at that time. “The first year is the best chance to make good grades, but I’ve just lost it.”
After that heart-breaking moment in my life, I learnt how to concentrate and listen to my own “voice.” Living in Buddhism society makes me get used to “Samadhi”, or the right concentration (if you have finished reading The Secret, you will understand why I mentioned about the right concentration). After the first term in the first year, I used Samadhi to increase my capability in my learning skills. Thus, I started to get A in almost every class. Additionally, I’ve unexpectedly received other good gifts. I have great friends, a nice lover, healthy body, and a lot else. However, this beautiful story came to its end.
After I had gained all those beautiful experiences, I had “a fear” of losing them all. And that’s the greatest mistake I’ve ever made. No one took those gifts from me it was me who refused to keep them. My life transformed from the most beautiful life to the ugliest one. I lost almost everything I had. Although I still got A in some subjects, in some which I tried really hard and really wanted an A, I didn’t get any. I lost some of my friends, I broke up with my lover, and I once again suffered from skin problems. Fortunately, I woke up from the nightmare when I met this book.
My dad told me about “a book” which seemed to be really great and interesting. At first I didn’t pay attention to the book much, but after I heard about what the secret was from some websites, and some articles in newspapers, I decided to go out and buy one. I told myself that, “This time is the best opportunity to start my new life. I’ve nothing to lose now. If it won’t actually make my life better, at least I know that I tried something to make a change.” And I’ve never regretted to make that decision. Now my life turns to be better every day. I have new friends who always help me when I have a problem. Many people in my university started to be interested in me, as if they’d never seen me before. I’m healed from skin problems and now I gain a lot of self-confidence.
I have an example about this great experience. It just happened a week ago – I got an A in all subjects in this term, and two of them are the most difficult subjects of my faculty.
I’ve applied the Secret to my daily life, and now I’ve found the most suitable method for making me perfectly use the law of attraction. Personally, the law of attraction is all about “what you feel”. You have to know what you are feeling now. Sometimes I find it quite hard to make myself believe that I can follow my dream. If you find that it’s unbelievable to pursue your dream, just make yourself feel “ok” or “fine” about it. Give some reasons to yourself so you trust that you can pursue your dream; for example, making yourself accept the worse case. I mean, you will enjoy what you really want, but if you don’t receive what you want, “the worse case” would be ok with you as well.
If thinking that getting A in all subjects will make you worried, stop thinking so. In this case, I actually told myself that it would be ok if I wouldn’t get A in those extremely difficult subjects. I’ve just done my best at least in the worse case I would get B. And B was not bad at all. Thinking so made me feel relieved, and that’s another way to use the law of attraction.
Think anything you want that doesn’t make you worried or depressed. Have you ever received something great that you didn’t actually expect or asked for, but haven’t gotten something you really want? That’s because of what you think if you feel relieved and believe that you will get it, you will. But if you feel worried or anxious, no matter how those gifts are important to your life, you will never receive them. Watch your feeling – and start to feel good now.
