Last summer, I had lunch with a friend. She shared that she has been working on paying off debt. She cashed in her 401k, took a new and higher paying job and was living on a budget. Every extra cent that she had went toward paying down her debt. In one of the books she read about debt payment, the author talked about getting a second income. She worked long hours and was really knocking down debt. I decided to do the same, but would approach it a bit different. I recalled The Secret and decided to put it into practice. I wanted to increase my income, but thought that The Secret could help me to make it happen.

I decided to increase my income by $100 each month. It was a small number, but I thought it would be interesting to see what happened. I focused on it and within a few days of saying that out loud, I received a call from a focus group service that I signed up for months before. They were doing a focus group and if I qualified, the pay for participation would be $100. I qualified! The following month, I decided to do the same thing. I said I would manifest $200. I got a call from a friend about work that I’d done months before and forgot about. “I never paid you that $200. When can I drop it off?” I was shocked, but I knew The Secret was working.

The following month, I decided to double the number again. My focus was on $400. I knew that would make a dent in debt. I then got a call from my parents. They were doing their budget and found a few extra dollars. They decided to share those dollars with me, $400! I was shocked and amazed and decided I would keep this going. It was the first of the month again and I decided I would get thousands of dollars. Well, I got my tax refund that month. lol. Okay, I know what you’re thinking, a tax refund isn’t major. It just means I did my taxes. I get that, but the fact is, I decided to manifest additional money each month and the money was coming. I also had something else that I was working on.

A few months before, I had to have an emergency medical procedure. My insurance company decided that because it was out of network, even from an emergency, they would not pay. So, I received a bill for thousands of dollars. I envisioned that debt being paid by the insurance company. After months of back and forth, an idea came to me that I turned into action. I reached out to the insurance company with a final plea and I kept the vision of opening a letter than said APPROVED in my mailbox. One day, I came home and saw an envelope in my mailbox. I thought it would say denied, but I opened it and the first words I saw said APPROVED. The Secret worked.

I decided to keep going! This time, I was going to go hard. I said “I want to manifest $5,000.” I didn’t know how that would happened, but I knew I would make it happen. When I started The Secret, I envisioned opening my mailbox and receiving checks. I opened my mailbox and there it was, a check. An unexpected check for just under $5000. How did this happen? I apparently overpaid on an item five years earlier and there was a check in my mailbox, the same month that I said I would manifest that money.

I have decided to keep going. I have a vision of a home, of more money, of great health, traveling and an incredible healthy life. I am going to manifest it all.
