Life Gets Brighter With Gratitude.

First of all, thank you to Rhonda Byrne and her team for sharing this incredible power. I was first introduced to The Secret when I was 14 by my parents. I only started understanding and using it when I was in high school. I had a really hard time making friends in my first 3 years of high school, but then I found The Magic book in my father’s bookshelf. I started reading it and practicing gratitude in the first semester of my senior year of high school. By the beginning of the second semester, I was feeling grateful for life with every step that I took. The results were absolutely amazing. I not only got accepted into my dream university, but I also became very popular and gained many friends. I became prom queen and I was also given the only award during the graduation ceremony where all the teachers and faculty in the entire school voted for an award that recognized leadership and kindness.
By the end of my high school, as I was getting ready to go to college, I met my best friend and we would soon fall in love, something I had wanted all my life. This only happened when I had finally let go. We were together for almost two years.
During this time I had slowly started to forget about The Secret and gratitude. My relationship with my love ended about 8 months ago but we tried to remain friends. It was clear that our friendship had become toxic and I became depressed for weeks, I could not even function. Then I asked the Universe for a sign that everything would be OK and I will find love again. That same day I was on Amazon and saw that I could get one free audiobook and the suggestion for me for that book was ‘The Power’.
I did not know what this book, The Power, was about, but I started listening to it. I was shocked to hear that ‘the power’ was love! So I immediately started practicing gratitude and love, and once again, the magic started coming back into my life. I got into my dream Master’s program and the relationship that I had thought was over is slowly coming back. I started giving love and gratitude for all my relationships by putting the people I care about’s pictures on my desktop and sending love to each of them every day. Not only are my relationships improving but I feel this calmness that I have only felt when I was a senior in high school.
I am so happy and grateful for the changes that are happening in my life.
Believe in what you want and work towards it, and it will always work out. Trust the Universe. I know that there is something great in store for me and I am looking forward to always living my life with love and gratitude and excited about letting go and having faith that everything will be just the way it is supposed to be.
