I was given The Secret book by my mother a few years back. I skimmed through it but was still too young and naive to realize the blessings it held.

Flash forward to last year, where I had many many months of sadness, negativity and endless complaints. I remember sitting at home and realizing that I was nothing but a miserable, ugly soul and I couldn’t even stand to be around myself. For some reason I decided to locate The Secret from my mom and read it. I started practicing some of the teachings in my daily life, one positive thought after another until my mind was in a much more positive place. I wanted to dive deeper into the book by trying to use the teachings on a bigger scale, but they didn’t work. I still had underlying doubts about how strong I was.

After reading the book twice at that point, I recalled the part about envisioning something small and detailed and having that come to life.
I met a girl at work that had a four leaf clover tattoo, and she said she got that tattoo because she would walk outside and find handfuls of them! She also followed the LOA. I was so moved by her positivity and ability to find them, that I then thought to myself, I can too! I didn’t want just any four leaf clover, I wanted it to be in a random spot, at a random time and to look into the grass and it be there for me. I had imagined it over and over and over, as when I was younger I would search for them. But I had never  found a single four leaf clover in my life. Continuing to imagine it, I even pictured me laminating the clover I found and placing it on the back of my clear, phone case. I would turn my phone around and imagine it there.

A few days of imagining had gone by when I decided to go out for some drinks with friends. We were all saying our goodbyes out the back door of the restaurant. As I happened to look down, there right before my eyes was a huge, four leaf clover!!

There were no other clovers close by, and there are no words I can say to express the feeling I felt when that occurred. I remember screaming out of joy and falling to the ground. Dramatic, I know. I went home, laminated it and put it right into my phone case. Afterwards, my husband, two kids and I would go on walks and we would find them over and over! I even found a five leaf clover! I filled up the back of my phone case so much that I had to move them all to another place to store them.

I know this is a small example of the LOA and having faith in the process, but it was so magical and fun! I am so thankful for Rhonda Byrne and The Secret, I cannot wait to continue learning and applying The Secret more and more. Currently, we are looking to buy our dream home, and I’m using as much of The Secret’s teachings as I can!
