When I was 12 years old, I often stayed with my grandmother who had MS and lived in a complex. She had an aide that took care of her. The aid unfortunately used my grandmother’s credit card and was fired. I forgot about her and have not heard from her since.

Fast forward to this year. I am 36 now and have known about The Secret and the law of attraction since 2015. But only recently have I fully delved into it and let myself be free from the shackles of negative thinking or allowing any type of poor mindset to emerge. For the past month, I have listened to The Power and The Magic every day. I read my list of affirmations that I have created after finding each one online. I make sure I am grateful for every single thing I own, everything I experience, and every person I see and come into contact with. I have been infusing love into everything I do and give and receive. I do The Magic practices every day, even after the 28 days are done.

Last week, I had just finished the photo exercise from The Magic, where you take three photos of people you are grateful for, tell them why you are grateful for them, and you say thank you to them. My three photos were of my mother, my best friend, and my grandmother that I mentioned earlier. I received a phone call at my job, randomly, from my grandma’s previous aide who told me she has spent years trying to find my mother because she found out my grandmother passed and wanted to repay her debt. That very day, we met at the bank and I deposited a check in the amount of $12,000 that has helped me, my mother, and my siblings.
