I watched part of the Oprah show when they were talking about The Secret, thought it sounded interesting, but got pulled away for one reason or another. Now months have passed and I was reading one of the message boards that I belong to, when I noticed that someone was thanking The Secret for all their success. That caught my eye immediately and I decided to go get the book. I didn’t have to go far, because I was telling a friend that I want to read the book and she said, “Oh, I have it and you can read mine if you want to”. Delighted, I accepted and thought “Wow, I thought about getting it and now it’s coming to me already”. So the next couple of nights I read the book and instantly felt empowered.

While reading the book it talks about trying small things out for yourself to see how it works, so I did. The book said to imagine yourself receiving a cup of coffee, imagine the cup of coffee coming to you. So I thought to myself, “Well, I really don’t drink coffee that much but what the heck, I’ll try it anyway.” That same day I was running late to take my son to preschool, and as I was coming out one of the other moms approached me and said, “Hey CJ, would you like to go to the coffee shop with Jen (another mom) and I for a little break?” I was astounded by what was happening, but still in my mind it wasn’t given to me yet. So as I was driving to the coffee shop I was thinking that if someone else buys, then this is AMAZING! Sure enough, we get there and Rita (the mom that invited me) bought the coffee.

That same day I was going shopping, and dreaded this particular parking lot. So I imagined myself getting the second parking place in the front. I wanted to be as specific as possible so I just picked the second one. When I got there the spot was taken, so I circled around again and guess what? Yes, you’re right, a mother was putting her child in the car, getting ready to leave, and they were parked in the second parking spot (the EXACT one that I had envisioned).

Since reading this book I am in such an amazing place throughout my soul. I feel so happy. I realize how much fuller life can be if we all lived by The Secret. Since reading the book (last week) I have been telling everyone I know about it, and how it can change their life as well. Another friend has brought me the movie which I watched last week as well. Now I am looking forward to watching it with my Husband and Daughter, who’s ten.

We have had a lot of crazy financial issues and now I see them all going away. I see my husband’s hard work paying off for us, and I see all of our worries vanishing within the next thirty days. As soon as it happens I’ll let you and everyone else know.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for everything that I have received. I am so happy and grateful now that we have financial freedom and can go on vacation whenever and wherever we want to go.
