I was out of a job and almost broke, not a story too uncommon in this day and age. At the time I was looking to apply for a government job as a postal employee. Given the city I lived in, it was a highly coveted job due to the pay and benefits included. So one could imagine that the competition was high.

I automatically assumed that the job was mine, and I didn’t care how many better qualified people were applying for the position. Doubt never entered my mind. I even informed my parents not to worry – that I will get the job. Keep in mind I did not know the how or when I would. I just knew I would get it, left it at that, and allowed the universe to manifest it.

Little to my knowledge, my sister was good friends with someone whose husband was a carrier at the branch I was applying for. After hearing that I had applied for the job and went for an interview, she contacted her friend. I didn’t really think anything of it, just thought my sister was trying to help.

Well, apparently once my sister had spoken with her friend, I received news soon afterward that the job was mine. Come to find out that my sister’s friend talked to her husband, and he put in a good word for me with the postmaster. A job that so many wanted, but I received it because I believed without a doubt that I would. Much to my expectations the universe decided the “how” by inspiring my sister to contact her friend to pass on a good word for me. Also, note that I did not plan for my sister to involve herself in this process, rather the universe did.

This simple story is my living proof that “The Law of Attraction” truly works. I believe there is a fine line between success and so called “failure” in this world. There is one word that distinguishes those that receive and those that do not, and that word is… FAITH. You must believe that what you want you will receive without a doubt. There has been numerous accounts of people receiving what they ask for. Whether it be physical healings, better finances, a much deserved vacation, or even a new home, your thoughts are what start the process, but it is your doubt that ends it. Keep the FAITH!
