First of all, I would like to say I am so grateful to Rhonda Byrne for sharing The Secret with the world. It has changed my life in so many ways.

Anyway, here is my story: For a long time I had always wanted to be in a perfect romantic relationship. I have never had a “real” boyfriend and never a real relationship. I was sad and depressed for many years. I went to a counselor and she told me to write down what I wanted in a soulmate. I wrote that list and I was very specific with what I wanted my soulmate to be like.

Four months past and I stopped looking and worrying about finding the “one”. I left my job and was seeking employment elsewhere. I applied at many hotels but never received a call back. One day out of the blue, my manager from my old job called me and asked me if I would come back to the hotel and start a new position as a front desk representative. I did housekeeping before and was told they would never promote me to front desk. I was in shock and happy and thought it was meant to be. Working at the front desk would mean that I would get to have more interactions with the guests and meet new people.

On my second day on the job, a man came off the elevator and approached me at the front desk. He handed me a flyer he got hanging up in the elevator and said in a flirtatious way “I have a present for you.” When I looked at him he looked so familiar and I just couldn’t figure out where I had seen him. I was so shocked I couldn’t even speak. He had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen. He smiled and walked away. I thought he was so beautiful and I didn’t seem him again that night. I thought that he would probably be checking out and leaving in the morning. The next day I never saw him.

A week went by and I still didn’t see him. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. One day I found the movie The Secret on Netflix and watched it. It inspired me to try to attract this man back into by life. I didn’t know how it would work because I didn’t know who he was and I doubted he was single or would ever stay at my hotel again. But I wanted to see him so badly I got rid of all my negativity and visualized seeing him again.

I did this for 4 days and on the 5th day I ended up checking him in at my job. I found out his name and that he was a project manager for a company in a town that is an hour and a half away from where I live. He would be staying here for 4 months for a project. I was glad to hear he didn’t live too far away from me. Every day that I saw him at my job I felt a strong attraction towards him and I could tell he felt the same way about me. I wanted to ask him out so badly but I thought a beautiful, kind man like him was taken.

But then I remembered The Secret and started to apply it. I pictured us going on dates and holding hands. Four months passed and I found out that it was his last couple of days staying at the hotel. I thought that I had to make my move or I will regret it. I prayed to God that he would have to come to the front desk for something, so I could finally tell him how I felt about him. I visualized him coming and I felt a strong source of energy in me. He came 2 minutes later and asked me for a key to his room because he got locked out. I then asked him if he would like to go out to dinner with me. His eyes lit up and he said ” I was just going to ask you that.” Anyway, we set our date and it was on his last day staying at the hotel.

We instantly realized we had an amazing connection and we became madly in love with each other. We are still together and we have an amazing relationship!

I finally realized why he looked so familiar. I found my soulmate list and he had every quality on that list. I am so happy and grateful for him. If my manager hadn’t called me to come back to work I would never have met him. Is it a miracle that he doesn’t live far away from me? Everything happened for a reason. You just have to wait for the perfect timing. The Secret is real and you can attract anyone and have anything you want. I am living proof! Just visualize and act as if you have what you want! I’m going to now try to manifest him proposing to me this December. Stay tuned. I believe it will happen.
