I had been struggling most of my life with romantic relationships. I was single during most of my twenties and early to mid thirties. Somehow nothing seemed to work out and I felt like I would never meet ‘the one’. I completely gave up on finding a romantic partner.

After watching The Secret, I realized that the stories I was telling myself and the experiences I had in the past were holding me back. Instead of staying stuck in my old beliefs and thinking that I wasn‘t worthy of love, I started believing that the right partner would show up. Every day I allowed myself to feel love all around me and was grateful for every loving interaction I had, whether it was with friends, family, animals, or a stranger I saw on the street. No matter how small the loving interaction was, I felt incredible gratitude. The more gratitude I felt, the more I started to notice potential partners around me. I could feel that my soulmate had arrived and that I was finally, after so many years, ready to receive him.

At a moment when I was overflowing with love, joy, and happiness, I met him. And we‘ve been together ever since.
