My husband and I was applying for independent schools in NYC for our daughter. It is very competitive and harder for parents who need financial aid for these top independent schools. Tuition is around $43,000 per year for these schools but the education and attention your child gets is superb. Our daughter is pretty smart and a fast learner and one of my coworkers kept telling me to try for these schools. With our income we cannot afford that tuition at all. But my coworker said if the school wants your child they will pay for you, but you may have to pay a small percentage.

We decided to go through the harrowing process of tours of the schools and interviews. Parent interviews and child interviews. At the end my daughter got wait listed for 3 of the schools. I was so depressed. I thought, what are the odds of a school paying the full tuition for my kid? Chances are they will accept the child whose parents can pay the tuition amount. But then I prayed to God and said you know what is best and left it up to God. If it was public school she was meant to attend then so be it. But I had faith in God that he will direct our daughter where she is meant to be.

I remembered visiting one of the schools that was closer to my job by train and while walking to the school I was thinking, wow, this would be an ideal location for my daughter. I was visualizing dropping her off at the school and her dad picking her up. During the tour I was thinking this would be so great for my daughter. She was wait listed for this school too.

After 3 days of getting the decisions by the schools, I got a phone call while at work. It was the same school that my husband and I both loved. They told us they are happy to welcome my daughter to their school if we accept!

She emailed me the contract and you know what?

They covered my daughter’s full tuition!!!

It was a miracle. We were just responsible for lunch fees, uniforms and school supplies. But the main thing, tuition, was fully paid for the year. I was so amazed. I must admit I have practiced The Secret visualizing technique without even knowing it and things have been granted to me so many times.

The above is just one of the amazing stories that occurred this year for me. Believe me, we have nothing to lose by believing we will have the great stuff we want and visualizing it. Being happy and treat others with love. All this is emphasized in The Secret book that I purchased a couple of months ago.
