Galaxy Dreaming

I have always felt drawn to space & the galaxies & the universe. Whilst others may find the hugeness of it all makes them feel small & insignificant, it makes me feel like I’m so carefully made and loved because amongst it all I’m here & I exist.
‘The Secret to You’ section of the Secret Book really touched me, it gave me goose-bumps & struck a cord. I feel like I have always had the missing piece of the puzzle but I just didn’t know where it fitted. As soon as I read this particular section it all clicked. I really did feel overflowing joy & excitement with a flood of realization.
I wrote a poem a few years ago which represents a journey, but I never really understand why I wrote my final two lines and why it felt so right.
It has always been my favorite poem of all of my poems, and has always had a feeling to it that I couldn’t explain. I would like to share it with Rhonda and everyone as a gift of my journey and learning how to become whole.
It is called Galaxy Dreaming.
Through a vast darkness I roam
Searching for an everlasting home
Forever this journey seems to take
Flying on a dreamers wake
In the distance something sparkling
Wings I’ve grown only just lasting
Destined for this Ray of Light
All the galaxies are now in sight
Voyage beyond my wildest dreams
Eternity’s mysteries fray at the seams
Cosmic Power overwhelming
Into space I am delving
Planets, Sun, Stars and systems
Waves of space dust flow in like rhythms
Surrounded by the awe of space
Finally I have found my place
About a year later I saw a quote which I felt was relevant and attached it to the bottom of my poem – ‘Every atom of our body was once a star’.
I feel like I can’t really properly convey how much I feel like everything has totally clicked into place, because I can’t send my feelings in this as well. I know however that there are many that will understand what I mean.
Blessings…
