Before watching The Secret, say in September or so, 2007, I was a struggling small businessman. Although I provided for my kids fairly well, and had a reasonable amount of money in the bank, it was never quite enough to make me feel secure, and worry and fear over finances, etc, dominated my days and nights.

After watching The Secret, and studying the book, etc, I really took Rhonda’s teachings to heart, and started applying visualization and thought-control, and good feelings to what I wanted in life. At first it was hard, and I just didn’t quite get it; that you can virtually control every life situation, and especially yourself and your feelings and actions, by right thought.

So, I started visualizing and feeling as though I had already received $836,000. I kept it up and kept it up (don’t ask me where I came up with that exact figure, it just seemed right!). I kept also imagining that amount in my business bank account, imagined how my lifestyle would be with that amount of money, etc.

A month or two later, my brother invited me to go to my dad’s house, where my dad was going to be given an award from the local university for donations he had given, etc, to that university.

It was around Christmas time. I attended the small ceremony, and afterwards we were all sitting around the living room, when all of a sudden my father presented my brother and I each with a check for $500,000!! My father had never given me a large cash lump sum of money like that before!

And… remember how I originally wished for $836,000 in my business account? Well, if you take $836,000 less applicable income taxes, you end-up with about $500,000, give or take a few thousand! (The $500,000 I received was tax-free)

Truly, a miracle!!
