Somehow, I knew “The Secret” was destined to find me. I briefly remember a show on Oprah about The Secret, but I never fully understood it. I looked up video clips online and I was immediately intrigued by The Secret. I felt very empowered.

I decided to buy the book, hoping to get over a very bad breakup I had with a long time boyfriend. I had been in a deep depression for almost two years. Little did I know the book was my true saviour! Not only did I want to get over my ex, I wanted a new partner. Learning how to visualize made me very excited about attracting a new and even better boyfriend. That’s when I let my imagination go wild. I wrote down all the qualities I looked for in a guy, not to mention the way I wanted him to look!

To make a long story short, after a year of hoping, praying, staying positive, and knowing in my heart that I would attract my dream guy, my dream came true. I walked into my piano class on the first day, and the first person I see is him. We made eye contact and smiled. We had a wonderful conversation. I knew right then that he was my future boyfriend. I had chill bumps because I had visualized someone exactly like him.

Now we are a wonderful couple! I am so thankful for The Secret and all of the inspiration and hope that it has given me. The most important thing for me is to not give up and be happy!
