Before I write my story I just want to say I am truly grateful for The Secret. I am grateful to Rhonda and her entire team of The Secret and to everyone else who has posted a story on to this website. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times!

For the longest time I had been looking for a job but it was proving difficult to make happen. I always prayed to God. I cried to him and I felt like he did not like me. I felt like he was punishing me, and all this while I knew The Secret really well, but I had forgotten about it.

Fast forward 3 months after that. I remembered there was a book that I had that I once used before to change my life. It really had worked so well. So I thought to myself, let me look for it and start reading it again and apply it’s principals into my life. So I did.

Slowly my life started to change. I was now beginning to be happy. I saw and noticed new developments in my attitude. I was now grateful for everything I have, the people and my circumstances. I made a list of what I wanted. I created a vision board of how I wanted my life to be like. I was also single and I asked for a partner. And, I got exactly what I asked for! But as for my job, nothing was happening!

I then started to stress again asking myself why is it that everything I ask for I get, but not my job? I kept on trying and trying and trying and still nothing. Then I just gave up!

Three days after giving up, the magic happened! I got called in for an interview in my dream company! It went really well. Then two days after the interview I got an email telling me that I got the job and that I should come in to discuss my contract! And when I got there everything I had asked for, the exact salary, the exact job description, the exact benefits and the exact location I had asked for. I got them all!!

I realized I did not trust the Universe so I had kept on pushing for what I wanted to happen. I did not give the Universe space to work it’s magic, but once I let go, it was epic!

Once again I am extremely grateful to the founder and creators of The Secret. Thank you so much for revealing that the power is in us to achieve all that we want and for showing us that we are all meant to live an abundant life.
