I write this story with tears in my eyes-tears of achievement, tears of happiness. The wait has been long, but the Universe never gave up nor did it let me give up!!!

About a year and a half ago I was working as Senior Software Engineer for Accenture India, when I decided to pursue my Masters to accelerate my career and hence came over to UK to do my Masters in IT Management with the Lancaster University Management School. I still remember the first day of Uni – I felt so positive and proud… The course was a year long and within a couple of months my peers started worrying about job hunting… I knew I was good and hence decided to look for experienced hire opportunities after course completion.

The course ended in September and I was hit with the harsh reality of UK’s employment market, specifically for someone who had taken a year off from work and adding further were the visa issues… I was completely broken… I would make hundreds of applications everyday but wouldn’t get any calls in return… At times I would feel I was good for nothing…

It hurt and it hurt real bad to be a failure… Around mid December I recollected watching The Secret and started reading the book again. It took some time to develop that unwavering faith… In January I received a mail from Deloitte stating I had passed their screening and would be invited for an interview shortly… No doubt I passed their interview and final assessment!!! I have been made an offer with Deloitte LLP and I am starting on the 7th May 2012…

Even the word Impossible says I’M Possible… A little mix of love and gratitude does all the magic, makes everything possible. If I could do it, you surely can… anyone can. Even the sky is not the limit anymore!!!

Also loads and loads of love to every minuscule particle that belongs to the Universe and beyond… Life is so beautiful that no ugly actually persists… We all live on hope and so should we!!!
