This past winter a lady whom I grew up with in the same small town was in a horrific car accident with three of her five children and her father. Her father, baby daughter (only a few months old) and teenage daughter were killed in the crash. Herself and her son were sent to the hospital to recover from critical injuries. All the communities quickly wanted to help anyway they could. A very close friend of the mother set up a Go Fund Me page for people to donate to ease the financial burdens the family were now facing. Without any hesitation I donated $100.00 on the Go Fund Me site.

My husband called me not long after I donated the money and asked me why I spent $100. We have a joint account and he was working out of town. I explained that I donated it to this family who needs all the help and support they could get. My husband worries too much and was afraid that we would be a little tight on money until the next payday. I have learned through Rhonda’s teachings to not worry about money but to do the best you can because that will only cause more situations to worry about. So I remained calm and told my husband that I felt good doing it and just knew all would be okay for us.

Later that very same day, I was in the gas station and the man who does our taxes comes in. He says, “Oh there you are! I’ve stopped by your house a few times now and you haven’t been home.” So I asked what for and he replies: “I have a check here for you.”

He handed me over a check for exactly $101!

I mentally took a moment to give thanks to the universe. Not only did I get my $100 back only an hour later but another dollar added to it. What you give out always reflects back to you at the perfect time. The mom and son are doing well now and have received tremendous amounts of support from generous people.
