I had known about The Secret and I bought the book a long time ago. In 2017 I was unemployed for 9 months, then my niece introduced me to The Secret again. I used The Secret and bought the apps and my life did improve. I received the job I wanted but the problem was that the salary was less than I wanted and I still could not afford very much. I decided to look for another job with more money and I found it. While in the new job I saw that the company was not doing well and started to be negative again. My phone then crashed and I could not use the apps now. I became more and more negative.

I recently got retrenched so I decided to re-read The Secret book again and use and do whatever I could. And guess what?!

I recently got a contract job that I will start next month. Everyone was telling me that I would not get a job because it was late in the year. The job is for 3 months and I got a 22% salary increase from my previous job. So far I am glad because I will be able to pay for my kids school, etc!

There is a job that I have applied for and I want that job because it is remote work and pays more money. This will make it easy for me to drop off and fetch my kids as well as buy them and myself everything that I want. I have learned my lesson that I need to be continuously up to date with and actually use The Secret daily. When things are fine I seem to forget about it and go back to my old, complaining habits. Every day now I write in my laptop everything I am grateful for, whether I have it or not.
