Hi everyone.

Before getting into the story let me just give you the background of it: I live with my parents and a younger sister. Throughout my childhood we lived in rented houses and had to sign a rent and lease agreement and changed houses when the agreement expired. We were fed up of staying in rented houses and wanted to have a house of our own.

I am 28 years now and just about a few months back I received a good increment in my pay scale. We thought that this might be the perfect time to procure a home loan and buy our own space for living. My parents started looking for houses. I started exploring the range up to which the loan amount could be sanctioned to me.

Just around this time, one of my mentors at the place where I work shared with me The Secret and asked me watch it. I watched it and I was amazed!

By that time we had found a flat in an apartment and loved it but it’s cost was higher than the amount that I could get by loan. We did not have any bank balance to speak of so we tried for me and my father applying together for a loan, as his income might help us in procuring an additional amount. But even then we were short of a couple of lakhs of rupees, which we didn’t know how to get.

This is where the law of attraction came to my rescue. I had learned in the movie that if you wish something, first believe that you have got it already. I also learned about the power of gratitude and also that while doing this you are supposed to feel happy. So I started implementing it. Every day when I sat in peace, I took a notebook and wrote on a fresh page: “Thank you god, I am so happy that I live in this house at …)”. I didn’t know how or where the extra money was going to come from but I knew I was not supposed to doubt it. I kept believing strongly.

A few days later a friend of mine who knew we were trying to get a loan referred to me a bank guy who studied our case and said he can do it for us. He could help us get the required amount. Things started rolling. I even bought a bike thinking that once I start staying there I would need it for commuting. I was just trying to believe that I actually stayed there.

Well, it’s been around 5 months now that we have been staying in the same house that we dreamed of and I keep thanking god every day!! Gratitude and strong belief in our dreams really help us in bringing our dreams to reality.
