Up until May of 2020, everything was going well in my life. I had everything that I wanted on a daily basis. I had money, friends, love for my life, and great family bonding until my father got hospitalized for a brain injury. Then everything around me started to collapse day by day. The hospital days began and the hospital bills started to stress out the whole family. A time came when all of our savings were finished and we had nothing for the hospital expenditure. Luckily our native family members helped us out with some money and in the process, my mother took out a huge amount of gold loans. The hospital days finished but by that time, we were out of all the money we had and we had a lot of debt that we owed to other people.

As this was during the COVID-19 situation in the country, the family business was not really running that great. Later in August of 2020, I began going to the office of my family business and got to know about the financial situation of the business. That was when I came to know all the struggles my father had in order to give us money on a daily basis and to take care of all situations. This became the turning point of my life where I became the exact opposite of how I used to be. I knew the value of money, family members, and the people who struggle on a daily basis.

I began to do meditation. I started having faith that soon the time would come when we would pay off all the debt and get back to living an amazing life as we used to.

Months passed by, and thanks to my friends, I came to know about The Secret and the law of attraction. I learned about how our minds can do wonderful things if we keep our faith and our beliefs. I did not read the book at that time but I started to have positive affirmations and to think positively. I imagined all that I wanted in my mind and kept believing in it.

More months passed and in May of 2021, the family was back to its stability and I was back to being the way I used to be. Now I know the value of every penny and of money. I know the value of savings, the value of family, and the value of a lowkey lifestyle. That past year was brutal for me but I am thankful that I got to learn a beautiful lesson in life and how I should always think positive, be positive, and keep others around me positive.
