Although I had just finished a truck driving school as part of a career change, I was not getting any offers to go to work for any major carriers. Last week I was reading The Secret and I decided to practice what they were saying in the book.

I began asking for a great position with a company and I began to believe that I would get more than one offer. I even began to visualize being back in the cab just like at school. I saw myself going over the Rocky Mountains during snow fall. I had been over them before, so I knew what it looked like.

Monday was a holiday so I didn’t get any reply except from an independent recruiter but he needed one year experience. Well on Tuesday as I was depositing my last check of any money I was ever to get, I got a call from a carrier asking if I wanted to start with them. I was thrilled. Then on Wednesday, I got a call form another carrier about another offer. Thursday I got two calls from two carriers with great offers. I believed and I received it….Fantastic. I am on the road to a new job in three weeks that is putting me back in control of my life and helping my family.
What is so great is that I have been out of work for almost four months and my wife requires over $700 a month in medicine and we do not have health insurance.

The Secret is the key to all of my happiness and to my new future.
