I was robbed of my purse in a tragic, long-distance train incident. Later on, I calculated the loss of the contents that were in my bag and it worked out to about 50 thousand rupees. I prayed every day for my bag to be found and returned. I urged God to somehow make up for the loss, as it was too much to handle for a freelance actress.

I kept praying for days, and finally, one morning my mother wakes me up saying ‘Wake up, look what I got for you!”. I straining my eyes and find myself staring at a colorful green parrot. I frowned yet I was happy with this new pet as I have always loved green parrots since childhood. I thought he would be good company for my other pet parrot who is the same type of parrot, coincidentally.

A couple of days later we come across a circular that said:  “Reward of 50,000 rupees for the return of our lost Alexandrine Parrot.”

We put two and two together and called the people whose number was written in the circular. They come to our house with a lot of hope, to identify their pet. The owner was thrilled to have her pet back, and I was overjoyed to have my prayers answered! I got my reward of 50,000 rupees!

God compensated me for my loss in a miraculous way! I believe in miracles.
